A note from Max
I have worked as a sliding door technician for 7 years. In that time I have met many seniors, people with disabilities, and deaf customers living with a door they can't open, can't close, or can't lock, because a repair was simply out of reach.
One visit stays with me. An elderly woman in a mobile home had struggled with her sliding door for five years. Her son had told her it couldn't be fixed. I replaced the track and the rollers. It took about two hours. When she slid the door open easily, she cried.
A door that works means fresh air, feeling safe at night, and getting outside without help. Everyone deserves that. So we started Sliding Door Heroes Care, and with the help of donors we fix these doors for people who need it most.
